The city of North Miami is seeking local performance acts for the upcoming NOMI MUSIC FESTIVAL.

Every February, the city of North Miami hosts their highly anticipated signature old school music event of the year! Nomi music fest is an unforgettable night featuring live performances, a DJ spinning your favorite old school hits, and where food and friends gather under the stars!
Founded in 2016 by then councilman Alix Desulme, Ed.D. During his first term as North Miami’s honorary black history month co-chairman, he envisioned and organized an outdoor experience called “Music in the Plaza.” Over the years the festival has transformed into a full-fledged festival called NOMI FEST. Past national artists include Monica, Cece Peniston, Jagged Edge, Chubb Rock, Deniece Williams and much more. This amazing event has evolved each year and this year’s line-up is no different!
This year the NOMI MUSIC FEST organizing committee is thrilled to announce the opportunity for talented local performers to shine on the same stage as national acts on Saturday February 22, 2025. In an effort to celebrate the rich diversity of artistic expression within our community we are in search of all musicians that are passionate about sharing their art with our audience!
