CeeLo Green & More Chart Topping Artists to Headline 5th Annual NoMi Music Fest

The City of North Miami will host the 5th Annual NoMi Music Fest, Saturday, Feb. 29, 2020, from 6 – 11 p.m. at Cagni Park, 13498 NE 8 Avenue, North Miami. The event is free and open to the public.

The 5th Annual NoMi Music Fest is the City’s signature event during Black History Month, along with a series of other events throughout February. This is the second year that a charitable component has been added to the Black History Month Celebration.

“We are really looking forward to celebrating Black History Month with an extraordinary night of amazing performances for the community,” said Dr. Alix Desulme, North Miami’s Vice Mayor and Honorary Black History Month Chairman. “This signature, can’t-miss event will include live music, delicious food, DJs, and an overall good time with friends and family in the name of charity”

The Music Fest was inspired in 2016 by the vision of Vice Mayor Desulme during his first term as North Miami’s Honorary Black History Month Co-Chairman.

The charity concert will feature Grammy Award Winning Headliner, CeeLo Green. Along with CeeLo Green, the Music Fest will also feature live performances by Adina Howard, Kevin Lyttle, Sunshine Anderson and Teenear. NoMi Fest will be hosted by Chubb Rock.

Tickets are available for $15 at www.nomifest.com. Tickets may be purchased for $20 at the door. Proceeds from ticket sales support the City of North Miami’s Water Utility Bill Assistance Program, benefiting residents in financial distress.
