The City of North Miami Launches the Official Website for the 6th Annual NoMi Music Festival
North Miami, FL – November 19, 2021 – The City of North Miami and District 4 Councilman Alix Desulme, Ed.D. are proud to announce the launch of the NoMi Music Festival website. The website, NoMiFest.com, will announce musical artists as they are confirmed to perform during this annual outdoor music festival taking place on Saturday, February 26, 2022 at Cagni Park (located at 13498 NE 8th Avenue, North Miami, FL 33161).
The 2022 NoMi Music Festival will feature 90’s musical icons like Montell Jordan and Next and it will be hosted by Chubb Rock, renowned New York Hip-Hop rapper. Chubb Rock has been hosting NoMi Music Fest since the event’s inception in 2016. During his first term as North Miami’s Honorary Black History Month Co-Chairman, North Miami Councilman Alix Desulme, Ed.D. envisioned and organized an outdoor experience called “Music in the Plaza.” Over the years, the festival outgrew its original venue, MOCA Plaza, and it transformed into a full-fledged festival now called NoMi Music Fest. Past national recording artists who have performed during the event include: Monica, CeeLo, Cece Peniston, Demetria McKinney, Jagged Edge, Chubb Rock, Deniece Williams, Case, Evelyn “Champagne” King, Karyn White, Doug E. Fresh, Dru Hill, Chantae Moore, AZ Yet, Crystal Waters and 112.
The admission fees collected from NoMi Music Festival directly benefit the North Miami Water Utility Bill Assistance Program Fund which aids residents who are unable to pay their water utility bill. For a limited time, patrons will receive a 25 % discount on tickets over $35 by using the Promo Code: NoMiFest2022. For more information on the festival or to purchase tickets, visit NoMiFest.com.
